Photography is an answered prayer
First and foremost, being your photographer is an answered prayer for me. Photography gives me a way to see and share the beauty of God's creation in the everyday moments we so often overlook.
As a mom and a wife, I know firsthand how quickly life passes by and how fleeting these moments are. My goal is to capture your story exactly as it is - from the quiet strength of motherhood, to the joy of welcoming a newborn, to the laughter and connection that fills a family session, and the love between husband and wife.

I want your session to be an experience unlike any other. Honestly, you won't forget I'm there, because I will constantly be your biggest cheerleader and tell you how cute you are, but if you can forget my camera is there - I've done my job right.
Each session is an intentional, relaxed experience, designed to help you be fully present while I document the moments that matter most. My hope is that when you look back on your images, you don't just see a moment frozen in time - you feel the warmth, love and purpose of the life you've been given.
I truly cannot wait to hear more about you, your loved ones and what your vision for our session together, and I cannot wait to turn that vision into something real.

My husband and I met in 2018 at a bar - crazy right? But it wasn't the typical "hey can I buy you a drink" scenario. I actually spotted him.. with my mom. What started as "wow he's cute" turned into "yikes he has kids and is divorced" and then slowly became "...why hasn't he asked for my number yet?" If it wasn't for his persistence and charm that evening, I really don't think we would be where we are today. My husband is my biggest supporter, my best friend, the reason I believe in love, and the person who encouraged me to pick up a camera in the first place when everyone said it was too much of an investment. I aim to make every photoshoot as fun for you, as it is for me when he and I take photos together - through laughter, play, love and connection.

Some girls dream of their wedding. That wasn't me. I dreamt of being a mom since before I can even remember. Fortunately for me, I became an instant mom when I met my husband's two daughters. Those sweet girls allowed me into their world with open arms, and wow have they grown. But my heart grew ten-fold when I held the little girl that my husband and I created for the first time. My daughter is the light of my life - her love for Jesus, excitement about life and her spirit of kindness encourages me to be better every day. Nothing makes me more proud than being a mom.

Meet the Photographer
Yes, you read that right. While my two step-daughters are in public school, I homeschool my youngest. I want to soak in all the time I can with my daughter, and I truly believe that the best way to do that is to learn at home. Homeschooling gives us more time to play and explore and honestly, for our family - it just works better. I'm a co-lead in our co-op group and our homeschool group, so I am lucky enough to help my daughter foster friendships, while finding fellowship and belonging myself.

Jesus waited for me for too long to reach out my hand to Him but I first met Him and began fostering our relationship in April of 2022. I truly believe that being a photographer is a gift from the Lord and I want to glorify Him in the work that I do. I want to show the beauty, relationships and lives He has created and I feel honored each time someone chooses me to do exactly that. I want you to know I pray before every session - for you, your family, your season of life, your joy, peace and happiness both during our session and after we leave. Each person who steps in front of my camera is a blessing, and I thank you for choosing me.
Things you might want to know
1 What does a session with you feel like?
My sessions are intended to be easy going with a hint of fun. I’ll guide you throughout when needed, and fix those strands of hair blowing in the wind, but there’s no pressure for everyone to pose perfectly and say cheese the whole time. Especially with kids, I’ve found the best photos usually happen once everyone settles in, plays a little, and focuses on connection rather than the shutter of my camera.
2 Where do sessions usually take place?
Most families choose either an outdoor location or to take photos in their home. I’m always happy to help choose a spot based on the kind of atmosphere you’re drawn to and what feels most natural for your family.
3 How do you guide us during the session?
I keep direction very gentle and natural. I know you want those pinterest perfect photos - and we'll absolutely throw a few of those in there. But more than anything - telling you to "look happy" or "act like something is funny" isn't really my thing. I guide you through small movements and interactions so the session feels comfortable and the photos still feel like you.
